Notes: This is an AHA Instructor-led BLS / CPR program, generally provided for healthcare providers or those needing CPR for a professional environment.

The American Heart Association BLS/CPR for the Healthcare Provider is designed for healthcare professionals who need certification for CPR. 

This INSTRUCTOR LED PROGRAM  is designed for those wishing for a classroom experience with solid practical experience that results in an AHA BLS (CPR) certification.

An AHA BLS Provider card will be issued upon completion. 

This course may be used for initial or renewal BLS for Healthcare Provider's Course completion.

Objectives include: 

  • The most current science from the American Heart Association Guidelines.
  • The AHA Chain of Survival.
  • High-performance CPR and team concepts.
  • 1 and 2 Rescuer CPR for the adult, child, and infant
  • Practical use of the AED.
  • Bag-mask techniques for adults, children, and infants.
  • Managing choking for adult, child, and infant

This course is for ALL people needing BLS/CPR. This is for all HEALTHCARE providers that require CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association, including Physicians, Nurses, Respiratory therapists, EMTs / paramedics, and ALL Medical and Dental professionals.  

FYI - Legacy Health employees should contact ePlus for internal class schedules - which are free to employees.  Legacy only pays for BLS when combined with ACLS.

Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. You are required to have the current textbook for this course. If you already own one or have access to one before, during, and after the class, you do not need to purchase one here.

 Payment & Promo Code Policy

NOTE - If you register using a credit card and later switch to a promo code, a $10.00 administrative fee will apply. If you are unsure, please contact our offices before completing your registration.

Promo codes are available for employees of contracted organizations. You are responsible for any costs if your employer does not cover the class fee. If you have questions about eligibility, contact your manager or our offices at (855) 739-2257 before registering.

Changing Class Dates / Illness

If you need to change your class date due to illness or other circumstances, contact our offices. If you register for an additional course instead of rescheduling, you may be responsible for the additional course fee.
