Notes: BLS Skills as part of out Online AHA course. Complete the online class and bring the certificate to class for a 1 hour skills session.

The American Heart Association BLS/CPR is ideal for Healthcare providers who need CPR certification. 

This 2-part program has you complete the BLS HeartCode online course and then complete a skills check with one of our instructors.  An AHA BLS Provider card will be issued upon completion. 

This course may be used for initial or renewal BLS for Healthcare Provider's Course completion.

Objectives include: 

  • The most current science from the American Heart Association Guidelines.
  • The AHA Chain of Survival.
  • High-performance CPR and team concepts.
  • 1 and 2 Rescuer CPR for the adult, child, and infant
  • Practical use of the AED.
  • Bag-mask techniques for adults, children, and infants.
  • Managing choking for adult, child, and infant

This course is geared toward HEALTHCARE providers that require CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association, including Physicians, Nurses, Respiratory therapists, EMTs / paramedics, and ALL Medical and Dental professionals. 

**BLS KEYCODE will automatically be issued upon registration and IS NON-REFUNDABLE**

This self-paced (Part 1) course is accessible anytime from any computer. Students can access the BLS for Healthcare Providers Student Manual, BLS Pocket Reference Card, and more for 24 months. 
  • Complete the "Part 1" online course you'll receive via email upon registering.   
  • Bring the completion certificate to our offices, and our Instructors will provide a hands-on skills practice and testing session. (Parts 2 = Skills)  
A Skills Session with an Instructor is required to receive your BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.  
 
FYI - Legacy Health employees should contact ePlus for internal class schedules - which are free to employees.  Legacy only pays for BLS when combined with ACLS.

NOTE - If you register using a credit card and later switch to a promo code, a $10.00 administrative fee will apply. If you are unsure, please contact our offices before completing your registration.

Changing Class Dates / Illness

If you need to change your class date due to illness or other circumstances, contact our offices. If you register for an additional course instead of rescheduling, you may be responsible for the additional course fee.
